4 Steps for a Sandbox always clean
Put at least 5cm of sand in the litter box
In a clean litter box, add the PBCAT until it forms a layer of at least 5cm.
Remove clumps and feces at least twice a day
This helps control odor and keep the litter box clean.
Dispose of in organic waste or toilet
The clumps can be discarded conveniently and safely.
Top up the sand to maintain 5cm at all times.

3) Can I flush the urine clumps down the toilet?
Yes, the clumps can be flushed down the toilet in small quantities, as PBCAT is made with biodegradable ingredients and its formula was designed so that the clumps, although firm, dissolve easily upon contact with water. However, we recommend that clumps formed more than 12 hours ago be discarded in organic waste.
4) Does PBCAT sand form sludge at the bottom of the litter box?
No. PBCAT forms firm clumps and does not create mud at the bottom of the litter box, which brings practicality and convenience to daily cleaning.
5) My cat used another type of litter. How do I transition to PBCAT?
The natural and comfortable texture of PBCAT is very well accepted by cats. In fact, some may initially lie or play inside the box with PBCAT: it's their way of recognizing the new litter! Hehe. We suggest a gradual adaptation, mixing the current litter with PBCAT for a few days. Another way to make the transition is to place a litter box with PBCAT next to the box containing their usual litter. Once they are using PBCAT frequently, you can completely remove the old litter from the environment.
6) How often should I clean the litter box?
Ideally, scoop out clumps and feces at least twice a day. This keeps the litter box clean, odor-free, and more comfortable for your cat. After all, nobody likes a dirty bathroom, right?
7) How often do I need to change all the litter in the box?
Since PBCAT forms firm clumps, you only need to replenish what has been removed. A complete change is usually only necessary if your kitten has diarrhea or a urinary tract infection, depending on use. In this case, talk to your veterinarian about litter box management.
8) When I clean the litter box, should I discard all the PBCAT litter currently in use?
It is not necessary. We suggest putting the used litter in another box or bucket, washing the box with water and neutral detergent, and letting it dry. Once the box is dry, you can reuse the litter and just top it off with fresh PBCAT to maintain a minimum depth of 5cm in the box.
9) What are the ingredients of PBCAT sand?

10) Why is light-colored sand important?
The light color makes it easier to visualize the urine and possible changes, helping to quickly identify signs of your cat's health problems, especially dehydration and urinary system diseases. In these cases, the clump stops being light and takes on a darker color, showing a possible presence of blood in the pee. We recommend contacting your veterinarian immediately so that the problem does not worsen.
